SHRM Certification Preparation Course

Increase your chances of passing the SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP exam on your first attempt with Bryant University’s SHRM Exam Preparation Course. This comprehensive 12-week program provides direct access to a SHRM-certified instructor who will answer your questions, review sample exam questions, and share proven test-taking strategies to help you earn your SHRM credential with confidence.

In 2022, the national average SHRM-CP exam pass rate was 64 percent. Participants in Bryant University’s SHRM Exam Prep course achieved a 100 percent pass rate—well above the national average.

All sessions are held virtually via Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 6:00–9:00 PM.

SHRM Certification Prep+

Prepare to pass the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam with confidence through Bristol Community College’s SHRM Certification Prep+ course, offered in partnership with SHRM. This focused 12-week program is designed to help HR professionals apply core HR competencies and knowledge to real-world workplace scenarios aligned with the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge™ (SHRM BASK™).

Participants will learn from a SHRM-certified instructor and receive guided instruction, practice exam questions, and proven test-taking strategies. A SHRM participant guide is included and will be distributed on the first day of class.

This hybrid course combines in-person learning with the flexibility of live online instruction. The first and final sessions will be held face-to-face at Bristol Community College’s Fall River Campus, with a Zoom option available. All remaining sessions will be delivered live via Zoom.

Earning a SHRM credential demonstrates your readiness to lead and is recognized by employers across all industries as the gold standard in HR certification.

In pursuit of building engaging workplace cultures, many organizations turn to trendy perks, such as ping-pong tables, game rooms, or kombucha on tap. While well-intentioned, these approaches often fall short, unintentionally creating environments that feel performative or exclusive rather than truly inclusive.

The reality is that “fun at work” is not one-size-fits-all.

In this engaging and insightful session, Paul Lopushinsky introduces the concept of the Eight Play Personalities, a powerful framework for understanding how individuals experience enjoyment, creativity, and connection in different ways. Rather than relying on surface-level perks, this approach helps leaders design cultures that resonate more authentically across diverse teams.

Participants will explore their own play personality profile and gain practical strategies to foster a more inclusive, energized, and human-centered workplaceone where engagement is meaningful, not manufactured.
