"How to Bring Agile/Scrum Change to the Everyday User"

Meet with a panelist of professional users of Agile Change/Scrum and learn how to use this unique change agent process in your everyday work processes to enhance and achieve substantial transformation in your organization.  This is the second Lunch & Learn in a series of presentations with ATD.  Enjoy this presentation of panelists that include an author on Agile Change, a Scrum Master, and an Educational Leader on Agile, as you learn how to implement Agile Change into your organization's strategic planning and implementation.  Please register today for this collaborative event.

SPEAKERS DETAILS & BIOS: 


Heather Cowap is experienced Science Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Heather is a strong education professional skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Event Planning, Agile Project Management, Educational Technology, and Volunteer Management. Recently appointed to the Agile In Education USA, North American chapter head, board of directors.



Al Kraus is and Agile Coach with over 16 years of experience in the Agile Space. He has written 2 books, Agile Explained and The Scrum Master Toolkit. He is driven by a purpose to help everyone feel fulfilled and happy in their work lives.




Katie Miller is a Scrum Master at Citizens currently supporting pods in Consumer Deposit Operations, and has spent nearly a decade in training and talent development in previous roles. Katie is an alumni of the Scrum Master Readiness Program at Citizens and holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Bryant University. Outside of work, Katie is a regular volunteer for WaterFire Providence, and loves to travel and spend time outdoors.



Alexandra Pastor With passion and resolute efficiency, Alex serves as an Engagement & Program Manager at AWE providing critical and timely support to the team, clients, and her community. Alex strengthens the human connections in all her work adapting and pivoting with laser focus to deliver at every level of support she provides. In her multidimensional role, she facilitates all communication connections with AWE programs, troubleshoots and solves operational issues, drives our internal processes, and program efficiently with a quiet calmness and confidence. She is the “wizard” behind the curtain, strengthening everything she touches, and flexes as needed daily in support of others. Alex comes to AWE with a dynamic background, with a B.A. in Spanish and Global Communications and a minor in French from Roger Williams University. She is bilingual in English-Spanish and pretty “darn good” in French. Following her dual passions, she taught horseback riding and English in Barcelona, Spain. She has deep experience working in the non-profit field overseeing, managing, and cultivating donor relations. She currently supports the Women’s Fund of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Society for Human Resources (RISHRM)
