Dr. JULIE ALIG
Dr. Julie Alig, CEO and Founder of JLA Analytics, LLC, brings clarity to chaos for businesses and organizations by using data science and visualization to develop actionable insights from their data. As a result, organizations boost revenue, increase efficiency and improve employee morale and retention. Dr. Alig earned her Bachelor's from Columbia College, Columbia University (NYC) and her Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Chicago. After earning her Doctorate, Dr. Alig spent 20 years in higher education administration using analytics and survey research to provide decision support to offices across the institution. Her portfolio included retention and “gatekeeper” course analysis; budget forecasts; market research; surveys of faculty, students, and alumni, and more. In 2019 Dr. Alig started her own consulting company, JLA Analytics, to bring her skills and expertise to businesses and organizations. Since then she's worked with clients ranging from medical device manufacturers to HR outsourcing providers to restaurant and hospitality businesses. She lives in Manchester, NH with her husband, a Professor of Politics at the University of New Hampshire, and her two teenaged children.
