Discuss the features families need to consider both during the in-school period and in repayment in regard to Student Loans. Present the comparison between PLUS and private loans and includes guidance on tuition payment plans, home equity lines of credit, and retirement accounts

PRESENTERS:

Lisa Talbot, Director Relations Management, Sallie Mae

Lisa joined Sallie Mae in 2002 and has over 20 years of experience working within the student loan industry. Prior to her work in education lending, Lisa worked at Assumption College and Regis College both located in Massachusetts in an Admissions capacity for over seven years. Lisa currently manages relationships with high schools, colleges and universities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. Recently, Lisa has been working hard to engage the high school market as well as the human resource space with this important work. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Rehabilitation studies from Assumption College. Lisa resides in Boston, MA with her Spaniel, Dora.
